Director of Marketing · Brand Strategist · Founder
I build marketing systems that scale. Currently architecting full-funnel strategy, CMS infrastructure, and operational processes across a 9-park entertainment portfolio — while running a fractional CMO practice and launching a women's sports venture. I don't just build campaigns. I build the engine behind them.
Start a conversation →Marketing for a company is like working out — great on its own. Operations is like eating healthy — also great. But marketing and operations together? That's diet and exercise. That's how you 10x your results.
Rachael Davis — on the intersection of marketing and operations
Background
My career has a single throughline: I build the systems that make brands work at scale. Not just the campaign — the attribution model, the CMS integration, the operational workflow that determines whether marketing actually converts. Strategy and infrastructure, inseparable.
Right now I'm doing this across a 9-park entertainment portfolio at Volli Entertainment — trampoline parks, adventure parks, and eatertainment concepts across multiple markets. Full-funnel ownership: paid media, organic social, email lifecycle automation, SEO, website performance, CMS integrations, ClickUp project management, cross-location reporting dashboards, and new concept go-to-market strategy. Multi-entity, multi-market, deeply operational.
Before Volli: years as a loyal Marriott employee and at the San Diego Convention Center, where luxury hospitality and large-scale B2B events taught me that brands are felt before they're understood. Then marketing for real estate mogul Joyce Juntunen, co-founding companies from scratch alongside CEO William Culler, agency years, and RD Digital — my own fractional CMO consultancy.
I'm also an athlete, and I'm launching Full Stride — a women's sports marketing and events venture — because I believe in this cultural moment and I want to build something that's mine.
Selected Work
Volli Entertainment — Director of Marketing (Current)
Leading full-funnel marketing strategy and execution across a portfolio of location-based entertainment businesses — trampoline parks, adventure parks, and eatertainment concepts. Multi-entity, multi-market, deeply operational. Paid media (Meta/Google), organic social, email lifecycle automation, SEO, website performance, CMS integrations, attribution models, ClickUp systems, cross-location reporting dashboards, and new concept go-to-market strategy. Moving from ad hoc execution to a repeatable, scalable marketing engine.
"My role is less marketing manager and more marketing and operations systems architect — focused on growth, efficiency, and building infrastructure that scales across brands and markets."
On the intersection of marketing and operations
Landmark Companies — Co-Founder
Co-founded companies alongside CEO William Culler — general contractor and broker. My role: build everything that makes a company visible and operational. Marketing, systems, websites, brand identity, infrastructure. First real education in what ground-up actually means.
Joyce Juntunen — Marketing Manager
Ran marketing for a prominent real estate leader where reputation, relationships, and positioning were the entire business. Learned what it means to operate when the brand is a person and every touchpoint carries real weight.
Mahal Aesthetics — Fractional CMO
Built the complete brand kit, social content architecture, Canva design system, and CRM migration for a boutique medical spa. Navigated a trust-sensitive clinical category where premium positioning and patient confidence are inseparable.
Springfield Montessori — Marketing Consultant
Ongoing digital marketing and web operations for a multi-campus school network. Audit sales workflows, analyze tour-to-enrollment conversion, and implement process improvements that directly impact whether leads become students.
Intrix Media — Digital Marketing Agency
Before going independent, I spent years at a full-service digital marketing agency managing enterprise-level accounts across the Pacific Northwest. Responsible for $600K+ in monthly ad spend across paid search, paid social, and display — while leading SEO efforts, managing client relationships, and coordinating across internal teams. This is where I learned to operate at scale, under pressure, with real budget accountability. It's also why I eventually built RD Digital — I knew what best-in-class looked like and wanted to bring that to clients who deserved it.
Marriott & San Diego Convention Center
Years in luxury hospitality and large-scale B2B event operations. Marriott taught me that brands are built through every micro-interaction. The Convention Center taught me how organizations sell, plan, and deliver experiences for thousands. This foundation shapes everything.
Full Stride — Founder (Launching)
Launching a sports marketing and events venture focused on women's sports. As a lifelong athlete, building this from genuine passion and a real belief that this cultural moment in women's sports is one of the most compelling brand opportunities of the decade.
Point of View
Hospitality taught me this. The brand isn't the logo or the campaign — it's the check-in experience, the event flow, the moment a guest or patient feels genuinely cared for. That experiential lens applies to every category I work in.
The best marketing won't save a company that can't deliver on the promise. I build both sides — the brand and the systems behind it. Diet and exercise, not one or the other. That's how growth compounds rather than creates chaos.
Before you have a team or a budget, you have positioning, relationships, and systems. The most valuable thing a marketing leader builds at an early-stage company isn't a campaign — it's the foundation that makes every future effort work harder.

Proof of Work
Real numbers from real work. What follows is a snapshot of what happens when marketing strategy, operational systems, and consistent execution work together.
Case Study — Volli Entertainment
What it looks like to own full-funnel marketing, reporting infrastructure, and operational systems across a multi-entity, multi-market entertainment portfolio — simultaneously.
Volli Entertainment — Director of Marketing
When I joined Volli Entertainment, there was no unified marketing infrastructure across the portfolio. No attribution model, no cross-location reporting, no scalable campaign system. I built it from scratch across 9 parks simultaneously.
The result: sustained 30% month-over-month revenue growth, a membership base that grew from near zero to over 6,000 active members in under a year, and birthday party revenue now accounting for over 27% of total revenue.
Membership Growth
A consistent upward curve with no plateaus — the result of lifecycle email automation, targeted paid acquisition, and retention systems working together. Memberships now represent 17%+ of total revenue, creating a predictable recurring base that didn't exist before.
Springfield Montessori
Tour scheduling was inconsistent and the pipeline was thin. Today their calendar is booked out months in advance. Required auditing the full funnel — from lead arrival to follow-up to tour confirmation — and rebuilding the operational processes at every step.
